Grandmas Family Dialer is an iPhone speed dialer with big buttons. Expressly designed for unsteady hands and blurry eyes, I made this app for my elderly mother to make it easier for her to call us with her new iPhone.
Grandmas Family Dialer displays a Favorites list of family members and their mobile or home numbers with large tap targets, grouped by family names.
My mothers shaky 93 year old hands had accuracy problems trying to tap the names in the Phone apps Favorite list. Also the slight tremor in her hand would often cause the tap gesture to be cancelled or be recognised as a different gesture causing the Phone app to enter a different mode.
Grandmas Family Dialer has no other functions or editing modes to confuse an elderly user.
The optional "Two finger super-tap" feature is a hair trigger which instantly recognizes a tap when made with two fingers (built especially for shaky hands).
